We are looking for a motivated Finance Intern to support our accounts receivable team with debt collection and credit control. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain valuable experience in finance operations while contributing to improving cash flow and reducing outstanding receivables.

Job Description:

  • Assist in chasing overdue invoices, following up via email and phone.
  • Maintain and update the aged debt report, ensuring accurate records of outstanding balances.
  • Support in communicating with customers to resolve payment queries and disputes.
  • Help improve debt collection processes by identifying trends and escalating issues.
  • Work closely with the finance and sales teams to ensure prompt invoice resolution.
  • Contribute to reporting on collections performance, including cash flow insights.

Job Requirements:

  • Studying or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and customer relationship skills confident in following up on payments.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and proficiency in Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest in credit control, financial operations, and process improvement.
